Native Hedge Planting

Hedges are an iconic part of our Britain’s natural heritage. They provide a natural habitat for wildlife and are a functional part of woodland planning. Hedges act as a natural barrier for livestock, and define boundaries. Many of Britain’s hedges are at risk through domestic property expansion and the commercial pressures on farming more efficiently. The farming industry can apply for grants to revive, and replant hedgerows.

NTS are passionate about doing all we can to preserve the boundaries of Britain’s iconic ‘patchwork’ landscape. Get in touch and find out how we can advise and help.
